He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Louise Wheeler; his parents, George Wheeler and Ethel Wheeler; his sons, Paul E. Wheeler and Kenneth W. Wheeler; and his sister Gladys L. Calhoon.
He is survived by: his children, Glenda Gail Stinson (Robert Ledford) of Bartow, Dorothy Reed (Bobby) of Frostproof, Beverly Gandy (Daniel) of Babson Park and James E. Wheeler of Frostproof; and his daughter-in-law Naomi Wheeler of Avon Park. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
