He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shoppa and Norma Reynolds; and his siblings, John Shoppa, Christina Shoppa and Candace Lloyd.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Shoppa; his children, Misty Armstrong (Chuck) of Omak, Washington and Kristian Shoppa (Rachel) of Davenport, Iowa.; his sister Sherri Goans of Missouri; his siblings-in-law, Jim Burke (Sandi) of Catlin, Virgil Burke (Kim) of Leroy, Aaron Burke (Melinda) of Fithian and Mary Vandenberg (Bob) of Dundee; and his sister Lori Selassie of Arkansas. He is also survived by six grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, seven nieces and nephews.
