Kristin Larson wrote a sympathy message

“Barbara was a true friend to all she knew. We had the pleasure of her support as a wonderful volunteer for the past 15 years with Animal Rescue Force of South Florida (A.R.F.). Barbara faithfully collected donations at all of our events, was an event coordinator, a dog handler, and even took photos with pets as Santa Barbara. She was part of the "A" team. She really loved dogs, and learned to love cats too! She was a faithful member of her church and loved the Lord. Barbara had a terrific sense of humor and would not back down to anyone. She was a true fan of Tweetie, and an Engelbert Humperdinck groupie, traveling all over to see his concerts with her best friend Joanne. We are really going to miss Barbara and her lovely smile. Our deepest condolences to all her friends and family who she so loved. I imagine you now in Glory Barbara. You made my life better. I look forward to hearing your voice again one day, and even finishing another puzzle.”
