He is survived by: his wife Pamela Daugherty (late Donna Skelton); his caregiver Gerry Franklin; his children, Charlie Junior and Clinton Franklin of Raleigh; his siblings, Milton (Annis), Ronnie Franklin and Glenda Franklin Izzarone; Chris Martindale. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
