“I looked him up because today i found many of his paintings at a thrift shop. I was moved by them and realized maybe he had passed away and someone donated them. I can't imagine his friends and family not wanting them. Here is a link to the paintings we found at the salvation army on military trail across from the palm beach international airport. “I was David Bartens step daughter. Thank you for posting his picture! I was shocked no family member did. I found out 4 weeks ago he passed. You're an angel! I havn't seen a picture of Dave since I was 16yrs old. I'm 49 now. David had his faults, hurt me deeply, but I never thought his faults would create such disdain for his belongings. David cut off all ties to me. I still loved him and am horrified his belongings were trashed. He was a veteran also. Where were his things?”
