He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Ernest and Agusta; his brothers, Harold and Milton; his children, Janet Vogt (Gary) and Richard Bauer (Margie); his grandchildren, Marissa Koller (Jesse), Alexandra, David, Danielle Shelley (Joe) and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Sadie, Olivia and Mia.

The military honors was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the South Florida Va National Cemetery-Lane (6501 S State Rd 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449).
