He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman L. Graves and Mary Rice Graves; and his brothers, Ronald Graves and Norman A. Graves. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Snyder Graves; his children, Connie Christensen (David Egnor), Gary Graves (Summer) and Gena Lee Ohman (Ron); his grandchildren, Justin Christensen (Sarah), Jennifer Christensen, Janie Ohman Fontaine (Drew), Casey Ohman and Jack Ohman; and his great grandchildren, Brecken Christensen and Colton Christensen.
If anyone wishes, donations may be made in Gene's honor, to the "K9's for Warriors" non-profit organization, which trains rescued shelter dogs to be service animals for Veterans that suffer from depression, PTSD and suicidal thoughts.
