He is survived by: his children, Mark Fertig and Shari McKnight; his grandchildren, Jesica Zaldivar, Tanya Dunn, Heather Seckel, Alexis Fertig, Bianca Fertig, Jeremy McKnight, Elena McKnight and Ashley McKnight; his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Zaldivar, DJ Zaldivar, Julian Dunn, Tali Dunn, Margot Seckel, Eliana Seckel and Isabella McKnight; and his siblings, Gary Fertig and Adreienne Mannis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Jack's honor be made to Trustbridge Hospice.
