He was predeceased by: his brother Alejandro Alvez. He is survived by: his wife Maria V. Alvez; his children, Maria, Carmen "Ita" Alvez, Monica Alejandra Harding and Jose Luis Alvez; and his siblings, Mabel Alvez and Raul Bistolfo. He is also survived by six grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
