When he was away from work, Ken enjoyed spending time with his wife, Marie, and his heart, Hailey, collecting coins and playing sports. He has been a member of the Sun-Sentinel's bowling and softball leagues throughout the years.

“Marie, I'm so sorry for your loss. Kenny was a true friend. We shared great times together over 45+ years. He will be missed by the lucky ones who were able to have crossed paths with him. We took numerous trips to Las Vegas and cruises. Dinner on Saturday night, was a regular event with Kenny and Marie for years. We worked together at the Sun-Sentinel and again 30 years later at F.A. Johnson. Kenny was someone I could called on anytime for anything. RIP, my friend. Rick G.”
