It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lida Maria Beltran of Lake Worth, Florida, who passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Zapata and Edelmira Zapata; her husband Pedro Alcizar Beltran; her children, Marlene Beltran and Isaias Beltran; and her siblings, Cesar Naranjo, Napoleon Naranjo, Rodolfo Mera, Herminia Mera, Nicanor Zapata, Musoline Zapata, Judith Zapata, Lola Zapata and Bolivar Zapata.
She is survived by: her children, Yordi Beltran, Marjorie Beltran, Rosy Cohen, Sandra Beltran and Elizabeth Beltran; her daughter-in-law Marisa Beltran; her siblings, Galuth Zapata, Luis Zapata, Angel Zapata and Manuel Zapata; and her grandchildren, Pedro Beltran, Ronny Beltran, Alex Beltran, David Cohen, Vanessa Siska, Sasha Cohen, Lindsay Alves, Brigitte Baque, Sean Cohen, Natalia Beltran, Ryan Murillo, Nathan Beltran and Julia Beltran. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
