Madelyn M. Prendergast Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Madelyn M. Prendergast of Lake Worth, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2026 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Madelyn M. Prendergast to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bavis and Madelyn Bavis; and her siblings, Jack Bavis, Robert Bavis, Rosemary Sutherland and Donna Marie Golden.

She is survived by: her husband Thomas Prendergast; her children, Diane Saich (Teddy), Thomas Prendergast, Karen Prendergast, Brian Prendergast, Marissa and Alice Kontogiannis (Johnny); her grandchildren, Abigail, Lily, Brynn, Brody Prendergast, Maddie and Connie Kontogiannis; and her siblings, Janet Kelleher (Jack), Kathleen Simmons, Michelle Welch (Edward) and Michael Bavis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
