He was predeceased by: his parents, Xavier Bung and Therese Bung; and his siblings, Helmut, Else, Karl, Franz and Edwin.

He is survived by: his wife Gertrude (Trudy); his daughters, Emily Bung (Chuck Chuckravanen) and Sonja Epting (Larry); and his grandchild Sashi Chuckravanen.
