As we bid Maria farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Maria is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezekiel Flores and Londina Omadto; and her husband Guy Gilliam, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Joshua Gilliam (Hannah), Ian Gilliam and Guy Christian Gilliam; and her grandchildren, Dakota Thompson and Braylen Gilliam.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at the Bible Baptist Church (7 SW 129th Ave, Pembroke Pines, FL 33027). A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 10:50 AM at the South Florida National Cemetery (6501 S State Rd 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449).
