She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Watson B. Duncan; her mother Mamie Gertrude Mcelhenney; her sister Zorita Pearl Harper Shaw; Glenn Alvin Harper.
Community service was important to her and as a member of the Salvation Army could often be seen (and heard) ringing the bell for donations during the Christmas season.
