With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Detweiler of Lake Worth, Florida, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 16, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Johnston and Katherine Yoest Johnston; her husband Galen E. Detweiler; her son Stephen (Tina Stiely Detweiler); her grandson John Konecny; and her siblings, David, Robert, Joe, Lois Weaver and Vera Travis.
She is survived by: her children, Dolores (Alan Freed) of Tucson, AZ, Joan Smith (Richard Wells), Alan (Bonnie Detweiler) of Elizabethtown, Barbara (late Larry Shroyer) of Hummelstown, John (Melinda Detweiler) of Hummelstown and Patricia Foote-Gammage (Stuart Gammage, Jr.) of Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
