With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melissa Ann Acosta in Lake Worth, Florida, born in West Palm Beach, Florida, who passed away on January 20, 2024 at the age of 37. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her grandmothers, Rae Curtis and Sadie Stover. She is survived by : her son Jayce Hensley; her parents, Michael Yon and Penelope Yon; her sister Christina Ampuero; her nieces, Juliana Garcia and Katelyn Cabrera; and her nephew Christian Rivera.

In place of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the Epilepsy Foundation in Melissa's memory.
