He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Smith and Nicholas J. Nusbaum Sr.; and his brothers, Nicholas Nusbaum, John Nusbaum, Larry Nusbaum and Frank Smith Sr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy and Susan; his grandchildren, Cindy, Nicole, Matthew and Nicholas; his wife Virginia; and his sisters, Fanny and Kathy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
