He is survived by: his wife Sharon Salansky; his son Robert Salansky (Rob); his stepdaughter Shannon Armstrong; his grandchildren, William Armstrong (Tyler), Alexandria Armstrong (Lexi) and Hunter Marie Armstrong; his siblings, Becky Lewis of Damascus, MD, George Salansky Jr. of Black Mountain, NC and Betsy Knowles of Derwood, MD; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
