He is survived by: his wife Amanda M. Shields; his children, Jordan Okun, William Shields, Matthew Shields, Laura Shields and Juan Pablo Nunez; his grandchildren, Grayson Okun and Zane Shields; and his siblings, Heather Thompson, Bob Shields and Gary Shields. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends.
