Berdell Bales Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Berdell Bales of Lakeland, Florida is shared. Berdell, born on December 3, 1937, passed away on July 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Berdell will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Berdell by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Berdell is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Berdell’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Monroe Bales and Florence Edna Sigel Bales; his wives, Janet Lee Marsh and Judy; his son Jeff; and his sister Barbara Hoskins.

He is survived by: his children, Todd Bales (Sherri), Greg Bales (Genelle) and Lisa Rieves (J. T.); and his sister Beverly Gill. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
