We are sad to announce that, on April 8, 2024, at the age of 79, Brenda Powell (Lakeland, Florida), born in Galveston, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leonard and Sarah Frances Weaver; and her brother Jerry Weaver. She is survived by: her husband Jack Powell; her children, Staci Petty (Wally), Denise Powell Staton, Kelli Powell Williams and Skip Powell (Melanie); her grandchildren, Whitney, Mackynzi, Tony, Torey and Clayton; her great grandchildren, Landon, Gaige, Avery, Abbi Jo and Lacey; and her sister Jane Melson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland, FL or the ASPCA of Polk County.
