He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Starling Borders and Leon Ransom Borders; and his siblings, Katherine Smith, Willa Mae Ivy and Wilburn Borders.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Borders; his children, David Allen Borders and Linnea Borders; his daughter-in-law Penney Borders; and his grandchildren, Sarah Bridges (Carson) and Jacob Borders.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Lakes Church Missions, Lakes Church Preschool, or One More Child, in honor of David's life of service and generosity.
