It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora Nell Mitchell of Lakeland, Florida, born in Freeburn, Kentucky, who passed away on June 8, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Fitch and Evelyn Vanhoose Fitch. She is survived by: her husband John Charly Mitchell; her children, Bobbie Lanier (Jason), Dee Dee Lucas, John Mitchell, Jr. and Michael Mitchell; her siblings, Steve Fitch (Paula) and Nancy Pellitier (Roland); her grandchildren, Ryan Keith Adams, Alice Renee, Jeremy, Jenna, Julianna, Andy and Cayla; her nieces and nephews, Jill, John, Sara, Bart (Bri), Jordan and Mia; and her great grandchild Aislynn.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Mitchell are graciously requested to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
