He was predeceased by: his father Reverend Gary Candlish. He is survived by: his mother Carol Candlish; his siblings, Amy Candlish, Erica Allen (Michael), Abby Mills (Steve), Tiffany Berrien, Chelsea Pondell (Ryan) and Matt Candlish (Kristi); his siblings' children, Maya Constant (Josh), Olivia Candlish, Tyler Allen (Lexus), Branden Allen, Gracellyn Allen, Wyatt Mills, Matthew Pondell, Naomi Pondell and Ezra Pondell; his great-nephew Cayson Allen; and his great-niece Hayslee Allen.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Victory Church (Light of Lights Chapel) (1401 Griffin Rd, Lakeland, FL 33810). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. At the age of 45, David entered the hospital on December 2nd and walked into the arms of Jesus and his dad, Reverend Gary Candlish, on January 6th after a long, hard fought battle with complications from Covid.
