He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Brown; and his son John Respress (Janice). He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Hilliard (Rick) and DeeDee Taschner (Mike); his grandsons, A. J. Padron, Daniel Padron (Hillary), Ian Hapeman, Nick Taschner (Kirsty) and Alex Taschner (El); his great grandchildren, Georgia Grace, Dallas Jo, Dixie Lorraine, Bethany Renee and Poppy Sofia; his sister Suzanne Long; his close friend Betty Hancock; and his extended family Tom Hughes (Letha).
