He is survived by: his son Justin Murphy (Carol Comer) of Bartow; his sisters, Sue Carter of St. Petersburg and Chris Conner-Bernstein of Miami; his granddaughter Layla Murphy of Bartow; and his niece Melony Carter of St. Petersburg.
