He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hartley and Yvonne Hartley. He is survived by: his sister Joyce Joiner; his children, Donald G. Hartley Jr., Lisa C. Lindenschmidt and Jason D. Hartley; and his grandchildren, Holly Tyson, Kirk Hartley, Roger Hartley, Devin Hartley and Jason Hartley Jr.. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
