With sadness, we share the passing of Edward Scannella (Lakeland, Florida). Edward, born on May 23, 1938, passed away on July 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Irene Petrillo; his son John Scannella; Philomena and Edward Scannella. He is survived by: his wife Constance "Conni" Scannella; his daughter Constance Morrisroe (William); his sisters, Mary Ann Newman (Charles) and Frances Bonatsos; and his grandchildren, Saralyn, Nicholas, William, Nardellas, Marsellas and Gutmakers. He is also survived by met the love of his life there, raised two children.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Cornerstone Hospice Foundation [https://cornerstonehospice.org] for the comfort, dignity, and unending compassion they provided in helping him leave the world in the way he desired.
