She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lowe and Lois Lowe; her husband Walter "Jake" Roberson; her children, Tommy Brown, Douglas Brown, Ricky Brown and Sandra Brown; and her brother Samuel Welch Lowe, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Sheree Veliz (Tim); her stepdaughter Sheila Roberson-Gordon (Michael); her siblings, James Franklin "Pete" Lowe (Darlene) and Lois Marie Lowe-Marshburn (Charles); her sister-in-law Bonnie Lowe; her grandchildren, Todd Taylor, Brenden Greene, Jacob Veliz, Victoria Veliz, Michele Golden and Monica Herrera-Marquez; and her great grandchildren, Kaydance Greene, Parker Engle, Jacklyn Taylor, Andreas Theodorakis, Gabriel Marti, Kaden Marquez and Lily Golden. She is also survived by many extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made in memory and honor of Ms. Emily to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
