She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas and Nancy Jane Hulion Godwin; her husband Jack M. Carnley; her daughter Karen Patrick; her grandson Christian Patrick; her siblings, Ola Peebles, Lillie Stanley, Lizzie Edwards, Claudia Blackmon, Nellie Trog, Leslie, Wesley and David Godwin; and her nephew Lee Godwin.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Thomas (Gilbert) and James Carnley; her grandchildren, Gilbert (Andrea Thomas), Jackson (Suzie Thomas), Thad Patrick and Keri Bentley; and her great grandchildren, Chloe, Conner, Mia, Oliver and Ava.
