He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Hooks (Rick), Debra Guedesse (Gary) and Chris Slay (Scarlet); and his siblings, Tommy Slay, Jeanie Chavis, Sula Waters, Sandra Vinson, Beanie Page and Sharon Merrit. He is also survived by eleven grandkids, ten great grandkids.
