He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Moore and Hester E. Moore (Calhoun); his former wife Nancy Gail Moore; his sister Beverly Roch; and his grandson Joshua Walden.
He is survived by: his wife Muriel Combee Deal Moore; his children, George Richard Moore III (Beth) and Teresa Lynn Mathis; his sister Judy Raney (Ken); and his grandson Jeremy Moore.
