It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Arthur Petro (Lakeland, Florida), born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Petro and Erma Katherine Petro (Secary); his wife Kathleen (Kathy); his children, Mark T. Petro, Laura Petro Stone and Scott M. Petro; his grandchildren, Brittany Petro, Steven Petro, Kathleen Petro (Katie), Scott Gerald Stone, Ashlyn Petro, Chase Petro, Bradley Petro and Claire Petro; and his brother William Petro (Bill). He was also cherished by 3 great-grandchildren.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
