He was predeceased by : his parents, Beulah Stuart and Harry Stuart; and his wife Ruth. He is survived by : his nieces, Linda Donaldson (Wyman), Susan Giliam (Darryl), Janis Mason and Laura Piel (Vernon). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes - Southside Chapel (1727 Bartow Rd, Lakeland, FL 33801). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
