He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marilyn O'Steen (Massey) and Freeman Devare "Bo" O'Steen; his siblings, Vicky O'Steen, Paula, Dennis and Debbie; his daughter Haley; his grandchildren, Eric, Brian and Danielle; and his great grandchildren, Thor and Heath. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
