He was predeceased by: his parents, C. M. Witter and Ruth Witter; his wife Velma Skinner Witter; and his siblings, C. M. Witter, Jr. and Jeanette Keen.

He is survived by: his children, Ruth Anne Maloy (Jim), Bill Witter (Sharon) and Ken Witter; his grandsons, Kevin Maloy, Steven Witter (Ruth) and Keith Witter (Missy); and his great grandchildren, Hayley Maloy, Tyler Maloy, Mason Witter, Cody Witter, Wyatt Witter and Jody Witter. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
