She was predeceased by : her parents, Neal Alexander McPhaul, Sr. and Georgia Grace Hurst McPhaul; her siblings, Lora McPhaul Newman, Neal Alexander McPhaul, Jr., Samuel Hurst McPhaul and Malcolm Gilchrist McPhaul. She is survived by : her children, Catherine "Kitty" Adams Smith (Ken), Neal McPhaul Adams (Gwen), Barbara Adams Beach (Brad) and Scott David Adams (Shannon). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The family welcomes donations to the Alzheimer's Association (alz. org) as an expression of sympathy instead of flowers.
