It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Heidi Lea Zepeda of Lakeland, Florida, who passed away on August 27, 2021, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She is survived by: her parents, Cecil Elkins and Clara Elkins; her husband John; her children, Corbin of Lakeland, Coryn of Lakeland and Blake Kain of Tucson, Arizona.; and her siblings, Heather Simmons of Vancouver Washington, Heath Elkins of Vancouver Washington, Seth and Sean Elkins of Florida. She is also survived by thirty nephews and nieces.

Once her daughter finished her final year of girl scouts, Heidi would shift her efforts to the Make-A-Wish foundation putting a giant smile on those children that needed it the most.
