With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Durrence Waters (Lakeland, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

For while she may have departed from this earthly realm, her spirit remains a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkest of nights.
She was predeceased by : her parents, James L. Durrence and Novideen Todd; her husband Thomas Waters; her daughter Misty Maloney; her brother Randall Durrence; and her granddaughter Amber Murphy.
She is survived by : her daughters, Wendy Smith and Crystal Murphy; her grandchildren, Brandi McKee, Jailen Maloney and River McKee; and her siblings, Patti Kennedy, Waymon Durrence and Douglas Durrence.
