With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James C. Hartley of Lakeland, Florida, born in Bay City, Michigan, who passed away on July 18, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Hartley and Rena Hartley; his wife Lorraine Hartley; his sister Barbara Conner; and his brother-in-law Bob Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Nicole Chervenak (Steve) of Lakeland, FL, Ryan Gelisse (Lee) and Joshua Hartley of Lakeland, FL; his grandchildren, Jacob and Sarah Buschlen of Battle Creek, MI; his siblings, Suzanne Taylor of Bay City, MI, Nancy Lalonde (Denny) of Bay City, MI and Gary Hartley (Colleen) of Redondo Beach, CA.; his daughter Diane Irwin of Spring Hill, FL.; and his godchildren, April Yax of Bay City, MI and Drew Hartley of San Diego, CA.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
