He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Sr. Gartrell and Mary Lou Gartrell. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Dr. Robyn Gartrell, Mary Gartrell and Jack (Sarah); his grandchildren, Jack Jr., Josiah, Julianna, Savannah and Joshua; and his siblings, Marcia (Jeff), Suzi (Rob), David (Wanda) and Glen (Ann). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Scott Lake Baptist Church (5811 Scott Lake Rd, Lakeland, FL 33813). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
