It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gerard Eckman of Lakeland, Florida, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Lincoln and Bernice Leona Eckman (Gilchrist). He is survived by: his wife Candace Anne Quirk Eckman; his children, Shane Eckman (Danielle), Anna Page (Jack), Sarah Eckman, Rachel Leviten (Joel), Kristyn Abelar-Eckman, Cherish Neff (Kristopher) and James Lincoln Eckman; and his siblings, Beverly Howell, John Eckman, Elaine Dadabbo, David Eckman and Angela Linto. He is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews;15 grandchildren.
