It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Jackson of Lakeland, Florida, who passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. As James departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Jackson and James Jackson; and his stepmother Elda Jackson. He is survived by: his brother Charles Larry Jackson (Judy); his nephews, Charlie Jackson and David Brock; his stepsiblings, Terry Benton (Kathy) and Cheryl Bradley; and his half-brother James Jackson Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
