She was predeceased by: her parents, Vivian Rhodes and James H. Rhodes; her husband Richard C. Smith; her son Jim Rhodes; and her stepdaughter Susan Smith Davoli.
She is survived by: her children, Laurie Dreiser, Pete Shipe (Cindy) and Susan Shipe; her stepson Edward Smith (Pam); her sister Judy Hollis of Charlotte, NC; and her sister-in-law Judy Bosowski of Athens, TN. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
