She is survived by: her husband Samuel Preston Carpenter Jr.; her children, Preston Carpenter (Diane Carpenter) and Sloan Carpenter Bentschner (Paul Bentschner); her grandchildren, Caroline and Logan Kebberly; her stepgrandchildren, Shayne, Elle Cardamone, Olivia and Grace Bentschner; and her sister Gretchen Lemoine. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and close friends.
