He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray DeYoung and Eleanor DeYoung (Laidlaw); his wife Jo S. DeYoung; and his son James M. DeYoung. He is survived by: his son Jeff DeYoung (Connie) of Englewood, FL; and his grandchildren, Emma DeYoung of Tampa, FL and Alex DeYoung of Americus, GA..
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Bartow Civic Center (650 E Main St, Bartow, FL 33830).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to McLeod Memorial Presbyterian Church or the Bartow Adult Concert Band.
