He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Polston and Pearl Gentry Polston; and his siblings, Charles, Harold, Bud, Henry Dee, Alan, Josephine (Joe), Clarisy, Ann, Pat and Loretta.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Rick Polston (Debbie), Becky Polston, Lisa Carden (David) and Johnny Polston; and his grandchildren, Brittany, Allyson, Cassidy, Jarret, Dustin, Emma and Nolan. He is also survived by his four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes - Serenity Gardens Chapel (3350 Mall Hill Dr, Lakeland, FL 33810). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
