He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert B Nicklas and Sara Jane Nicklas. He is survived by: his significant other Valerie A. Nicklas; his stepdaughter Tami Piendl (Bruce); his siblings, Robin Nicklas (Nancy) of Seattle and Evalyn (Joe Fortunato); his uncle Drew (Fionnuala); and his cousins, Oisin and Senan.
