We bid farewell to Joyce Eleanor Mathers of Lakeland, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 26, 2025 at the age of 96. Joyce touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Lamar Mathers; and her children, Stanley Mathers, Patricia Hart, Pamela Mathers and Katrina Jordaan.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Magee, Lola Theresa Lord, David Mathers (Sandy), Paula Foster (Neil) and Wesley Mathers (Jennifer); and her sisters, Laverne Todaro and Rita Kaye Eckert. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
